Welcome to The Growth Approach (“we,” “our” or “my”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website www.growthapproach.ca (http://www.growthapproach.ca) (the “Site”) and the coaching services offered through it (the “Services”). By accessing or using our Site and Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Site or Services.

1. Services

We provide coaching services in the areas of life and relationship coaching. These services are for educational and self-development purposes only and are not intended to replace medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice.

Note: Coaching is Not Therapy

Coaching does not substitute for counseling, psychotherapy, psychoanalysis, mental health care, or substance abuse treatment. If you are experiencing mental health issues causing impairment in daily life, please consult a licensed mental health professional.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use our Services or have the consent of a parent or guardian. By using our Site, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.

3. Booking and Payments

Coaching sessions must be booked through our online system or as otherwise directed.

All payments must be made in advance unless otherwise agreed upon.

Prices are listed in USD and are subject to change.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

Cancellations must be made at least 12 hours in advance via email or booking software for a full refund or reschedule option.

Missed sessions or late cancellations may not be refunded.

4. User Responsibilities

By using our Site or Services, you agree to:

Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and session booking.

Not use the Site for any unlawful or unauthorized purposes.

Independently determine what is right for you. This may include hiring a coach or consulting with care providers including any healthcare professionals.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site unless otherwise indicated —including text, graphics, logos, videos, and documents— is the intellectual property of Mico Nunes and The Growth Approach and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or use any content without my prior written permission.

6. Disclaimer

All content on the site is general information and education that may or may not be right for everyone. Be sure to independently determine what is right for you. This may include hiring consulting with care providers including any healthcare professionals you work with, or consulting with other relevant parties impacted by your decisions. All Services and content on the Site are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

We do our best to provide high-quality services, but make no guarantees regarding specific results or outcomes, or the continuous availability and accuracy of content on our Site due to research and the field continuously evolving and changing.

7. Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for any incidental, consequential, indirect or punitive damages arising from your actions following use of the Site or Services.

8. Confidentiality

We respect your privacy and will not share your personal information with third parties without your consent, except as required by law. Please note that we use protected online software for communications but these occasionally are not 100% secure.

9. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update or change these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to this page. Your continued use of the Site and Services after these changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ontario, Canada, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. This is understood and agreed to by the Visitor that the laws of Ontario, Canada are to be applicable regardless of location and governing jurisdiction of the site visitor.

Any disputes regarding the Site or Services will be resolved through mediation or arbitration according to the laws of Ontario, Canada and physically in the province of Ontario.
